Crystal Clear

As I'm running through tall green blades of grass the sun shining down on me, casting playful shadows across the ground. A slight crisp breeze floats through the air giving a refreshing break from the heat of the day. I slow my pace as I edge to the top of the hill and smile at the sight that awaits me. I give way to a moment of serenity, but then gaze upon a beautiful fountain flowing down into a pool of water. I near the pond and without a second thought I jump out into the water. It's invisible arms capture me and I am breathless. I swim away from it's grasp up to the top of the water I follow the light waiting, waiting for that air, that relief from this burning inside of me! And then in that last moment of torture I break through the top of the water and inhale that wonderful, beautiful, crystal clear air.

New Year

Happy New Year! Ah, I just love new years time to start fresh [and get on a good schedule]. I have just started a 31 day devotional, for the month of January. It's nice to have a book that plans out what your going to read, then some questions for you to answer. I guess I'm a schedule girl, I like to have things planned out then I know exactly what to do and when! Well since I'm starting this new year by challenging myself to read the bible every day, what about you? What are you doing to grow in your relationship with God? I encourage you to make a Bible reading plan [Proverbs is great, that's what I'm reading] and stick to it! If you miss a day, so what you can catch up. Just try it, Proverbs is a book about wisdom and it never hurts to be wise!

Christmas Tree Bokeh



1) This is a picture of our Christmas tree, which was taken by me. Although you cannot tell, because of the blurriness, our tree is a pretend, fake, NOT real, tree... I guess it's better than none. I prefer real trees, big evergreens! Those are my favorite, we have had real trees in the past, this year... Mr. Pretend came  to visit.  

2) Your most likely wondering what FratinsPhotography is... Now as many of you know, I am not a "official" photographer. FratinsPhotography is just sort of a way to tell you that I was the one who captured the picture. In the distant future though, it may be greater than that, we'll shall see!

One of those days... {in My World}

Today was a beautiful winter day, I slept in {till 8:30am I actually made myself stay in bed!} then had some yummy Chocolate Bobka bread for breakfast! Then I went to kohl's, you would not believe how crowded it was, I thought it was black friday sales or something! I got a new sweater dress and shoes for Church, something I've been wanting for a while. Then I went to a party at friends house and had a great time playing "Mad Gab" {one of my favorite games} laughing, and just hanging out! It was one of those days I remember how much I have been blessed with Friends, and family, the time and resources to go shopping, and just happiness!

The reason for the season

I love Christmas, and the beautiful snow,
sitting by warm fires, the wind whistling as it blows!
I love the first day when on the radio you hear,
Christmas music playing, bringing good cheer.
I like it when we go sledding down hills,
without a care in the world, but soon getting the chills.
Then we go inside and what do we see?
Cups of hot cocoa, mm, yummy!
Tomorrow we gather with friends close by,
then to our cousins, so far we have to fly.
On Christmas day we open our gifts,
yes, everything that was on our list!
But then we remember why we celebrate this season,
It's Jesus birth! Yes, that's the real reason!
Born in a stable on a cold winters nigh,
wrapped up in clothes, you never heard him cry.
Perfectly perfect, in every way,
a God who is awesome! and loves us each day!

The Beauties of Winter

This picture was on the yahoo news page, and it's so gorgeous I just had to put it on here! Visiting Paris is on my list of "things I wish I could do!", it's so beautiful there, especially in winter, sorry for going on and on about it, but this picture's breathtaking! Ok, I'm getting weird now...
